Computer Science Internships
Sick of just playing WoW this summer? Get out there with our list of various internships and summer programs! The summer is a great time for undergraduates such as yourself to hone your programming skills, network with major companies and universities, and explore possible career options.
The first step is looking for programs. You can start with a basic internet search with keywords like “summer computer science internship.” We previously mentioned Google’s Summer of Code program, but there are many others:
- IBM offers a Technical Intern program, “Extreme Blue,” for those interested in business and technology. Some of their requirements include 3 months of software development experience, a 3.0 GPA, and (preferably) students completing their degree by the next year. Their recruiting dates have passed, but feel free to check out their website Winners from 2010.
Your artwork should be submitted to GSOEJSR@gmail.com at any time no later than May 4, 2011. The details of the exhibition and contest will be announced in April.
